I currently assist Samsung NEXT in the evaluation and execution of M&A, joint venture, corporate development, business development and strategic investment opportunities. My group's manadate is to invest in and to acquire leading next-generation software & services companies (e.g. IoT, AR/VR, Blockchain), helping to ensure the long-term success of Samsung.
Prior to NEXT, I honed my finance and investment acumen on Wall Street, where I worked as a bulge bracket investment banker providing M&A advisory to private equity firms and F500 companies. Over my career, I've supported ~$20B worth of M&A deals (ranging from $300M to +$6B) via 10 completed transactions.
Additional professional experiences include:
I. Entrepreneurship--both as a Co-Founder and Operator of two profitable small businesses
II. Management consulting--as a Business Analyst at Deloitte
I received my MBA from The Wharton School, where I focused my studies on Management and Finance (Corporate Valuation and Private Equity--Venture Capital & LBOs). For undergrad, I attended Stanford University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology & Society.
Outside of work, I am passionate about the professional development and mentorship of underrepresented groups and seek to help increase the representation of these groups in Tech, Investment Banking and Private Equity. I am a proud alum and supporter of the TOIGO Foundation, the Management Leadership for Tomorrow program and the Riordan Programs at UCLA Anderson School of Business.
